IDEAS welcome
o.k. so myself and a friend are starting a tiny new magazine-- all that we can afford, for now. we were thinking that there are a hell of a lot of people entering there thirties, still living like they are in there twenties.. early twenties. nothing wrong with that, but we want to give us discerning folks something smart to read, as well as grappling with the changing identity bullshit, and all that good stuff. we will offer: really good writing (ummm.. no, thankfully NOT by yours truly) and really good design and photography (i might help a little).
do you have any suggestions?
would you like to offer a contribution?
if so, please leave something in the comments area. thanks.
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME: if we were dating, i would be very pleased if you kept sweetened, powdered ice tea on hand, just for me. unless of course, you like it too and already feature it as a regular in your cupboard, in which case i may just think we are fated or something creepy like that ;)

Interesting. The two of the previous three women I have dated turned thirty right around the time we were spending time together, and I gather that adjusting to no longer being a twentysomething is quite the mind-fuck. Although one of them says it's the best thing that ever happened to her and recommends it whole-heartedly, as if that's something over which I've got control.
Is your idea for a printed magazine or an e-zine?

I'm 31 and loving the thirties so far.
I enjoyed my twenties, but not like this. You know your mind better. It's like when you've finally broken in your favorite pair of shoes. Or finally reading the instructions to your digital camera, "Wow, I didn't know it could do that."

tea flavored kool-aid. if he really loved you, he would brew it fresh. if you put the sugar in while the tea is still hot, it disappears without complaint.

sorry red clay. i am canadian! for me, it is all about the childhood memories of said tea-flavored koolaid. a long developed fondness. i don't like it fresh-brewed. but thanks for your thoughts.
