apology

dear blog readers,

i apologize for my admittedly LAME updates of late. my boy problem was fleeting, and the quote from earlier today was a just plain sad attempt at a post. i know. i didn't have much to say, so i searched around, hoping there was something online from one of my favorite films of the past year: CLOSER. funny, for a film with such great dialogue, and an award winning script, the pickings were slim. funnier still, i personally think one can have much more fun than lying. in fact, i'm honest to a fault. i think i may just have been attracted to the part about taking one's clothes off, at that particular moment. see? honest to a fault ;)

i'm going through a bit of a "thing" right now. a bit of a hopeful project unrealized. a bit of a falling out of a friendship. and i'm terrible at interpersonal difficulties between friends. my friends are very important to me, the center of my life one could say. it's rare an upheaval occurs. and when it does, i tend to feel a little sick til all is fixed, so bear with me. i think though, that all will be o.k.

on a good note, i will be getting a new tattoo later this week. it's going to look something like this, a little simpler, and maybe a tad smaller. (o.k. 3 attempts and the image upload feature is not working. you all will just have to wonder...)
