With the philosophy that every part may be her big chance, Ann makes a valiant effort to learn to roller-skate to get a part in a soft-drink (called Twinkie) commercial.

i read this on a chalkboard tonight while sharing some oysters and black tea. it was cheering.

I'm nobody, who are you?
Are you nobody too?
There's a pair of us, don't tell!

I am nobody. Who are you?

Then there's a pair of us.
Don't tell - they'd banish us, you know.

    How dreary to be somebody,
    How public - like a frog -
To tell your name the livelong June
    To an admiring bog.

ya, i only really like the first 3 lines. i'm not one for poetry at the best of times and frogs, bogs, and livelong Junes aren't in the sphere of things i identify with so much. just thought the first 3 lines were cute. i was sitting with a friend who was depressed.
